We are marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2020 with 31 of the many special women and men who come through the doors in some
capacity here at the Worcestershire Breast Unit.
Pictured here is Lydia Repton who heads up the wonderful team of volunteers who run the Look Good Feel Better Masterclasses at Worcestershire Breast Unit.
The Worcestershire Breast Unit is the only place within the county to offer Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) Masterclass sessions. These sessions are a free two hour skincare and make up workshop for women undergoing treatment from any cancer. Led by LGFB Beauty Volunteers, the sessions are an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation while learning lots of new techniques. Since we started to run the sessions in Summer 2016, we have been able to offer this valuable confidence boosting support to just over 250 women.
Unfortunately due to Covid, we are not able to offer the face to face sessions at the Breast Unit at this time, however, Look Good Feel Better are offering online sessions and you can find out more about these on their website https://www.lookgoodfeelbetter.co.uk/…/virtual-workshops/
