Chemotherapy Care Packs

Behind the scenes, for several months now, our charity team has been working hard to develop and implement our WBUH Chemotherapy Care Packs, to be given out to patients undergoing this treatment at the discretion of our Breast Care Nurses.

 

The idea was the inspiration of the beautiful Laura, a patient here at the Unit, who put together some packs herself during the Pandemic to support other patients here.

 

Our Chemotherapy Care Packs are each crammed full of thoughtfully curated items, sourced carefully and lovingly by the charity.

 

The value of each Chemotherapy Care Pack is approximately £65-£70, but the value to the patient is priceless.

 

Our breast care nurses have already handed out some packs and the response has been phenomenal.
